Appearance and Material Release

Station: WEDU PBS 1300 North Boulevard Tampa, FL 33607 Name of Project: Date(s)/Location(s) of Project: Tampa Bay, Florida For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby grant to Station the irrevocable right to incorporate the following, in whole or in part, into the above referenced Project: • Photographic, film, audio and/or visual recordings of my name, likeness, appearance, performance and voice (individually and collectively, the “Recordings”); and • Written, visual, musical and any other materials including, without limitation, of a biographical nature, in any media that I provide to Station (individually and collectively, the “Materials”). In connection with the foregoing, I also hereby grant Station the right to perpetually reproduce, edit, exhibit, distribute, broadcast, publish and otherwise exploit the Recordings, the Materials and excerpts and outtakes therefrom, and the right to authorize others to do so, worldwide and in any and all media now known or hereafter devised without limitation as to )me, in connection with the Project, in advertising, promotional, publicity and packaging materials with respect thereto and for the institutional promo)on, outreach and other purposes of the Station and its assignees, licensees and/or designees including, without limitation, other stations. I hereby represent and warrant that I possess or have obtained the legal right and power to grant Station the rights granted herein. I further hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold Station, its underwriters, licensees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out of Station’s use of the Recordings and the Materials as provided for in this release and/or out of any breach or alleged breach of the foregoing warranty. I hereby agree that, as between Station and I, Station is the sole owner of all rights in and to the Recordings and the Project. I hereby expressly release Station, its underwriters, licensees and assigns from any privacy, defamation or other claims I may have arising out of the use of the Recordings and the Materials as described herein.
